Intellex - Automation, Visuallex

Visuallex is a Visual Basic based SCADA system that provides a high degree of flexibilty for your SCADA installation.

What is a SCADA System?

A SCADA system (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) gives you a representation of what is going on in your plant. Typically, this will involve mimics (a graphic representing your plant), trends (what has happened to that temperature over the last 24 hours), alarms (what has faulted or not performing as it should), and reporting (storage of pant data, production of reports).
Traditionally, SCADA packages have been developed on yet another piece of software, with it's associated licensing, version upgrade costs, bugs.

How it works

Visuallex is a collection of drivers and pre-developed controls that allow you to develop a SCADA package and compile it to an .exe file.
This is the same way as the rest of the IT world develops it's software.
Once developed, you own the complete software. You are free to install and distribute this as many times as you wish.

A traditional SCADA package licence is charged by leading brand suppliers on a per computer basis. Compare that to a single competitively priced Visuallex licence- one licence for your entire site (and any installations you might do elsewhere)

*Note: an IO server licence is still required - this is software developed by a third party. Intellex can usually configure a system in a means that only requires one IO server licence per site.
